Summer Learning Programs
Looking to get your student signed up for a summer learning program? Check out these 3 great programs being offered for ²Ýݮֱ²¥ students to support learning and grade transitions:
K-3 Summer Learning (English only)
Henderson Elementary | July 7–25 | 9am-12pm
For current qSD students who have completed K-3 in June. Priority placement will be given to students who would benefit most from extended learning, based on school and staff feedback. A playful focus on literacy and numeracy will guide the program.
Registration Dates:
Opens: May 2
Closes: May 30
Please note: Spaces are limited.
Families will be notified of enrolment in early June.

K-3 Tla’amin Summer Learning
Ê”ayÉ©štÉ™n Ê”ayÉ› (Cousin’s House) | July 7–25
In partnership with Tla’amin Recreation, this summer learning program will be integrated into a full day recreation program, with a playful focus on literacy, numeracy, and outdoor based learning taking place in the morning. Registration and additional programming details will be available through Tla’amin Recreation.
Registration opens May 26.
Brooks Summer Learning
Brooks Secondary School | June 30-July 11
- Grade 8-9 Foundational Learning for current qSD students:
- with a focus on literacy and numeracy skills
- 9am-1:30pm
- Grade 10-12 Course Completion:
- 9am-11am OR 11am-1pm
Registration opens May 2 and runs until the end of June.
Please note: Positions available for all students who register, but registration is necessary.
